Carbon Fiber has a negative coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE). Composites with Zero CTE can be achieved with combination of matrix and CF.
High modulus carbon fibers with more than 530GPa in modulus have an advantage to provide Zero CTE composites in fabric and isotropic laminates.
